I have used an Apple Watch for years and briefly tried a lesser model Garmin watch, nothing compares to the amount of data that can be collected with a high end Garmin watch.

Great Watch for all activities

I wear this as an everyday watch. I switched from an apple due to wanting something more detailed regarding workouts and better durability. The Garmin fenix 7 has the apple watch beat in both. Also, the battery life is crazy and charges quick. The only issue i can find is the HR monitor can be off once in awhile but it is a great watch.

4 Week Assessment - Outstanding product

I've had this watch for four weeks now. It replaces a Polar v800 that I had for 6-8 years. So far, I've used this watch for backcountry skiing, road running, trail running, and mountain biking. It has been outstanding for all activities and I continue to learn about new features. Due to its complexity, its probably best for people who have experience with GPS devices, and are looking to have lots of data at their fingertips. Battery life is great - I charge it once every 10 days, tracking ~10 hours of activity per week. You could probably push it to two weeks between charges. I have the heartrate feature turned on, and assume that uses a good portion of the battery. I also love the sleep monitoring, and believe the data to be fairly accurate and certainly useful. Great work Garmin!!

Upgraded from a fenix 5 and really like the touch screen. Updated sleep data / sleep score has been the most appreciated upgrade. HRV data, training readiness, and body battery are nice additions. Maybe these were possible with the fenix 5 and I didn't have it set up to track, but I appreciate having the data now with the fenix 7

Garmin really outdid themselves on this one. Every feature you could ever want in one watch. I love how you can pretty much customize everything on the whole watch to your liking. Great work Garmin can't wait to see what you think of next

More data than you could ever want

Awesome Awesome watch. gives me everything i could want out of a watch and more. Only part that can be a little frustrating is the first 10 minutes of a workout the heartrate will not track accordingly then it figures itself out and from then on you are good to go. Id recommend warming up with the activity running so by the time you start the workout it tracks correctly.
