AWESOME IS ALL I NEED TO SAY!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow... this stove was so easy to install and looks great. The edge to edge cook top with the two 15,000 BTU's for large cooking space works wonders and saves a lot of time and it has precise simmer burners also. The stove has steam cleaning and the two top grates are dishwasher save which makes it even more easy to clean and save even more time. It has an in oven broiler at the top to make broiling food taste great. We cook a lot of fish and seafood and the broiler has worked great every time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this GE stove! It is beautiful in design and extremely efficient. The two high output front burners are awesome! I am able to cook a large pot of rice in half the time it took me with my old stove. It has a medium back burner and one small simmer burner that is excellent for a stew pot or using it as a warmer. The broiler has two features, high and low, and steaks come out perfect! The oven is large and you can situate the racks inside the oven to hold a large turkey, ham, a side such as mac and cheese, a medium casserole, and a dish of yams. It's perfect for my family of five! The steam cleaning option is a nice touch and it works well. I would happily recommend this high quality range to anyone! Love it!

For the price, the oven is disappointing. The stainless-steel control panel and drawer are very thin and appear subject to easy denting. The drawer front is chintzy looking and feeling. The plastic covering the display seems flimsy and far from durable. After the first use of the cook top, my attempt at cleaning up some minor grease spots on the plastic cover with a dampened cloth resulted in permanent scratches to the plastic covering. Does not bode well for long-term service. The two large "power boiler" burners are both towards the front of the unit, and even on lowest setting, put out far too much heat for most "normal" uses. I find myself using the back burners, particularly the smaller of the two, for most of my cooking. My previous GE Profile oven lasted 27 years before the digital oven controls died. I don't expect that service out of the new one. The new one did fit perfectly my existing 30" cut out, but the unit projects almost an inch further into the room than the old one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to switch from electric to gas…I love the stovetop feature! I love how much quicker things are prepared vs electric. So so glad I switched. My only complaint is that I had a convection oven before this and I am struggling to not have the bottoms of my biscuits and cookies burn in the oven. This is just a learning curve so I only gave it 4 stars vs 5. Once I fully adapt, this will most likely be a 5 star product!

My New GE stove is great!

I am really happy with this stove. It is so pretty and works! The one had that was from the 90's LOL finally stopped working so it is really great to have a working oven again.
