how to remove stains? I

how to remove stains? I thought it was scotch guarded.

We only recommend spot cleaning, for routine dirt & stains, or unzipping the cushions for a full hand wash if need be. To do so, gently remove the slipcovers as they are a close custom fit to the cushion and do take some maneuvering to get them off and on. This is best done with two people & by folding the interior foam or filling in half before taking on or off.
If Hand Washing: Soak fabric slipcovers in a solution of 1/4 cup mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water. Use a sponge or a very soft bristle brush to lightly agitate the stain. Then rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow the fabric to air dry.
Use of Bleach: For tougher stains, it is safe to use bleach on your Sunbrella fabric slipcovers. If bleach is used, we recommend following up with a scotch guard product to help preserve the fabric's water resistance. For specific stains, we recommend referring to the Sunbrella Stain Guide we list on our site.

We could not be happier with our Yardbird outdoor furniture. The sectional and glider chair are sturdy, attractive, and extremely comfortable. The firetable is very well made and lights up easily. The flame and heat are adjustable and provide a lovely ambience. Service and shipping were 1st rate!
