I purchased my strada case several weeks ago. This is the fourth one I have owned sine each time I upgrade my phone I buy a new case. When I took it out of the box I noticed a change. There was no longer a little tab to assist in opening the case. It made it difficult for me to get it open. I contacted Otterbox and they told me this was the current design and only thing I could do was return it. I love everything else about the case so instead I got a small piece of leather and glued it so that it made a little tab and now the case works great. To me not discontinuing having the tab was a significant error in Ottetbox’s design. They need to go back to original design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Changed to cheaper material

I have always loved the Strada case and I had the Strada case for all of my iPhones. I enjoyed the soft leather look and feel of the case. The new iPhone 13 Pro case I just received feels completely different - like cheap “pleather”. It also had scratches on it. Very disappointed.

Very unlike my previous Strada case

I upgraded to an iPhone 13 Pro from my iPhone 11 Pro which I had a Strada Case for. The new design is a huge disappointment. The texture is very cheap feeling and certainly nothing like leather. More importantly, the previous design had a tab on the flap to open easy. This new design just has a small slit to pull up with a finger nail. Might work great for women that have long fingernails but it is very cumbersome to open in a hurry if getting a call. Lastly, the iPhone 13 Pro camera lenses protrude out quite a bit and the case offers very little protection for that. The plastic surrounding is not enough protection if you were to drop the phone on the camera lens side.
Overall, terrible design and would NOT recommend.

Worst case ever!

This case is the worst. I used to love the Strada cases on previous phones but this one is terrible. The cover does not close with 2 cards in it. The flap presses the buttons when closed. I have been trying to contact otterbox to return it since it arrived and still cannot get ahold of anyone and their website has been down for over a week now! DO NOT BUY THIS CASE!!

Disappointing Case

I bought this case approx 3 weeks ago. I have used this case on my previous 3 iPhones and was very pleased with the case. While the new case offers the protection I am looking for, I find the new case clumsy to open at least half the time. I may eventually become accustomed to the subtleties of the opening process but it's hard to understand how such a design flaw could have been missed especially when one considers how well the older version case worked. I have started to look for an alternative case.

This case fits the iPhone 13 Pro well, and feels very thin for a folio case. The major flaw with the case, however, is that it uses extremely strong magnets to hold the case flap. The magnets disable the compass inside the phone, which means that you cannot see your orientation when using map software. I decided to return the car for this reason. I also do not feel comfortable with such strong magnets around my other electronic items.

Difficult to open; leather-easily scratched/marred

This is my second wallet from otter box. My first one opened much more easily. This one requires that you slip a thumbnail into a small opening at the top-it does not easily open. I have had mine for just shy of 3weeks and, despite my careful handling of the outside leather, it is visibly scratched.
