I bought the Apple case, and unless you wish to buy a bar of soap, that’s what you get with the Apple version. Slippery like no tomorrow, you have to hold it with a tight grip. Putting it down even worse it will slide off any surface. So glad Otterbox came out with their version, unluckily when i got my phone the Otterbox was not available yet. Switching over to the Otterbox you can feel the difference, You finally have a grip and it wont slide off surfaces either.

This is my 2nd Otter Box clear case. 1st was for my iPhone 8 Plus. It let the pretty red phone’s color show through & survived a number of “oops” dropped phone events. When I bought my iPhone 13 Pro Max, I looked at Otter Box again (with the MagSafe) but ultimately decided on Apple’s clear case. :-( Didn’t feel as protective as my previous Otter Box so I ordered this Otter Box Symmetry for MagSafe. LOVE IT. Fits perfectly. Able to easily access and/or use all the buttons. Camera lenses are somewhat protected by the raised edge of the case. The MagSafe functions perfectly. What I love best: the OtterBox case has rubberized edges & corners. That provides the protection that I’m looking for. I haven’t dropped this new phone yet but I know it is inevitable - I feel confident that this case will provide good protection.

I am very happy with this purchase! Fits perfectly! Seems to be quite protective! Only issue I have is a hard edge on the bottom left that keeps poking my finger! But that can be my finger placement!

I love the protection Otterbox provides. The only reason I only give 4 stars is the darn case is almost impossible to remove. I don’t have a reason to remove the case and I can wait a couple of years before I HAVE to remove it. It’s just that it’s a one piece case and when you put it on, it stays on.

I have been a long time Speck customer but needed a MagSafe case pretty fast. Out of the color and what I was looking for I though I would give Otter a try and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The case looks good and is easy to keep a good grip on it. In the future Otter will be at the top of the running for a new case.

It works with the magsafe battery, the phone holder. I have dropped my new iphone at least 5 times in the first two weeks. I am so clumsy, but my phone is protected and happy. Get it you won't be sorry.
