The Otterbox Commuter has protected three of our iPhones, and each one has been solid. This latter itineration for the iPhone 13 Pro is as almost as good as prior models, but a design tweak is necessary to better protect the camera lens bump. Earlier iPhones with less protruding lenses had great protection, but the 13 Pro's larger lenses are recessed a mere 1mm from the back of the Commuter case –inadequate at best.

Really good case that does the job

I've used Commuter cases for my last three iPhones, and I might like this one most of all. Great protection without the bulk of the Defender. The latest Commuter saved my phone from damage when I took a tumble on a hike (the case got scratched pretty good), yet the case is thin and light enough that I could flip my phone in and out of my pocket easily to take pictures. Case also slips on and off without too much trouble for when you want to clean your phone.
Minor flaw: Cutout for sound/vibrate button is a bit off-center, but still fits. Looks like whoever designed the case expected the button to be a tad closer to the top of the phone. Still works, though.

Tough slim case

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this for being a slim case easy to fit in my pocket and smaller purses but with still feeling that my phone is secure if it slips. One thing I really like my cases to have, which isn't always possible when looking for a slim case, is a charging port cover. This case is hard plastic and soft layered for some flexibility with the toughness. I don't yet have a mag charger but it's nice that this case is compatible with it for when I decide to get one. I also see its 5g compatible. I didn't realize that was a case feature or something to consider with these newer phones but either way, this covers it. My least favorite thing would be how slick this case is. I've had other cases this brand that are a plain hard plastic back, but none quite this slick. There are a couple soft spots on the back ro mix with the hard plastic but I could always put a grip on it later. For the most part I love this case, easy on and off, and for protection of the charging port.

Nice, easy to install, but not MagSafe compatible

I tried to use this case with “Belkin - Car Vent Mount PRO with MagSafe for iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro,” but it in no way stuck to the magnet. Returned the mount.

Super durable and slim profile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome case for those prone to many phone drops who still want to be able to have a slim case that fits easily in their pocket. I drop my phone a ton, and this has held up super well and protected my phone from scratches and cracks, all while being a low-profile case rather than bulky.

I’ve been using this case for 2 weeks, and my phone has been in since day one. It is thin and comfortable to the hand (and pocket), but is super protective. It has a nice texture and although not the grippiest case I’ve held, it is still easy to hold. Installation and cleaning the case is easy, and all the buttons are easy to press. Also works well with screen protectors. Haven’t tried MagSafe yet, can’t wait to try it.

I’ve used this version of the case for my last 4 iPhones. I have dropped my various iPhones over the years dozens of times and they have never broken. It fits easily into my pocket but still has enough grip when in your hand. A definite buy for me every time I get a new iPhone. A nice compromise between size and protection.
