I purchased an Aventon Soltera 7 on sale.
When I received the bike, I found BestBuy had repackaged a used, damaged bike and sent it to me as being new.
The tires were dirty and showed signs of wear. The frame had damage on it.
The display was scratched. The battery was dead and would not charge.

This is something you usually expect from resellers, not from BestBuy itself.
As my choice of color was not available, I offered to take any color they had in stock as I need a bike. They actually wanted to charge me an additional $200 dollars for a different color, even though all the colors were on sale at the same time.
I have never experienced anything like this from BestBuy before.
To say I am very disappointed is an understatement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems this is a known issue with the Aventon Soltera 7S. The batteries often don't work.
Sadly going to have to return this item.
