Happy with sound quality; some poor design features. NOT rechargeable (but I knew that on purchase). On/off mechanism very poor - opening & closing battery compartment

Need newer technology features

The $600 Bose hearing aids improve my hearing as I expected. However the devices lack the wireless charging and soapstone color choice of my $299 Bose QuietComfort Noise Canceling earbugs.

Learning to live with hearing aids

On the bright side, I tried hearing aids that cost 7 times as much as these and don’t recall a significant difference in sound quality. The conclusion I draw from that is the bad news, hearing aids don’t come remotely close to replacing natural hearing. My primary complaint is that I still have trouble hearing people clearly, particularly if there is any ambient noise like car windows rolled down, water running, music, chatter, etc. Nonetheless, I am delighted that Bose has entered the market. If any company can figure out high quality sound, I have to think it will be Bose. I hope so. Please keep the research going! There is progress to be made.

Great less expensive option

I brought this two weeks ago as a emergency need after my hearing aid wasn't functioning properly. This turn out to be a great purchase with no issues so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reading other reviews, I see that some reviewers never wore hearing aids before. I have, so I know what to expect. For example, there are NO hearing aids that work well in a noisy room.
Having worn hearing aids before, I can say, in comparison, these are excellent. First of all, the price!
No need for an audiologist to plot a custom curve. I adjust the EQ settings to my liking. Big savings there.
A problem with behind ear units is they will fly off when the wearer puts on glasses, a mask or anything else that hangs on the ear. The Bose has extra stiff tubes that reduce the problem, compared to other models. One still needs to remain keenly aware of the aids.
I like the 3 position battery compartment, so I can turn the aids off without losing a battery.
I left one star off because of the lack of ability to use the aids to converse in phone calls. Especially since there is already a bluetooth connection between the phone and aids.
Still, an excellent product.

Perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must admit, I was a little leery about these hearing aids. The super low price made me cautious, but then the brand name of "Bose" convinced me to try them. I had used hearing aids previously, they were $6,000.00 for the pair. I lost one of them on three occasions; when I would remove my mask the elastic would fling my hearing aid and even though I was cautious I did not always realize it. I could not afford another set. So when my son showed me these "Bose" hearing aids, I decided to try them. I was approved for financing and so they showed up, all I was required to do was install the batteries and insert them in my ears. I downloaded the "Bose" app enabling me to adjust the volume and bass at my fingertips. I am 100% satisfied and would definitely recommend these to anyone! Thank you, "Bose", I can again hear my wife, even when I don't always want to!

They are Bose Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been wearing mine for about a month and once again, Bose did not disappoint. I put off getting hearing aids due to people complaining abut their hearing aids. Then Bose showed up. I had already had Bose Hearphones but there is no comparison. Their hearing aids are just what I needed. I have full control over them and can adjust them for any circumstances, and save the settings for reuse. I also thought hearing aids would be uncomfortable. I was wrong, I forget they are even there. They weigh next to nothing. For the first week I was in bed at night before I realized I still had them in and should remove them. I've been a Bose user since 1972 and still have Bose speakers throughout my house. I was not amazed by the Hearphones but I love the hearing aids.
