Bose SoundControl Hearing Aids - They work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for my brother-in-law who is a user of hearing aids. He really enjoyed them and gave me his review of them!
"First of all they work. They amplify the sounds you want to hear and not so much the ones you don’t. Set up was easy and quick with their app. They sound as good or better than the ones I purchased at the big box store for around a third of the price. They handle feedback well and they seem to be well built; though they do look a little clunky. Most people have hearing loss in the upper mid sound range and these seem to be programmed to compensate for that. There is little noticeable difference between the Bose sound and that of much higher end hearing aids. While they don’t correct hearing loss, they can help compensate for a reasonable price"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can live without rechargeable batteries, which would be nice. But really wish I could tap a button on the hearing aid itself to toggle between front and everywhere, rather than having to use the cell phone app.

hearing aids not loud enough

I can't seem to get the sound to be loud enough. even in a quiet room i can't hear most voices. I have the sound at 100%. I like the fit and support has been great, but if can't get the volume up not sure i can keep them.

Could never get the hearing aids to fit!

Very frustrated! Could never get the aids to fir in my ears or stay put on my ears. They kept falling off. Even with my partner trying to help and also with using 2 different lengths of of the ear canal piece. They wouldn't stay. I have tried other hearing aids and never had a problem with the aids not staying on and all were easy to place on the ears, not these aids!
