Bose SoundControl™ Hearing Aids

I bought these a month ago. I'm not impressed. The batteries run out in 2 days of infrequent use. Bose did not include Noise Suppression or an Equalizer, 2 important features I expect from Bose. How do I compensate for my hearing roll off as frequency increases. There was no trial period, so I am stuck with these devices.
