Very nice hearing aids - great customer experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the new Bose hearing aids at the end of May, 2021 shortly after learning about them. I had had a hearing aid from an audiologist about 10 years ago and had a bad experience trying to get basic maintenance parts from the company. I eventually stopped wearing it and my hearing continued to decline. Enter the Bose hearing aids. Very easy to set up and use (the standard fitting that came in the box fit me perfectly) and the app is very easy to understand and use. I was operating them within 10 minutes of opening the box! I read the manual and then also responded to an email urging me to set up a complimentary consultation with a Bose representative. The on-line video chat helped me to understand some of the details of cleaning and using the hearing aids. The whole experience has been excellent for me. I wear them everyday. I have confidence that I will get excellent support from Bose and the price was less than 1/3 what I paid the audiologist for one hearing aid 10 years ago. My wife is happy, my neighbors no longer can hear our television across the street, I can participate in conversations again. I could not be happier.

Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying 2 different pairs of the Nuheara Earbuds, which worked pretty well but were bulky and made my ears raw from the size and weight, and the fact that the Nuheara earbuds devices are placed entirely in the ear, (They are Big and Bulky) ..I tried the Bose and let me tell you, They are light and almost invisible, and do not rub my ears raw, and the sound quality is second to none, I mean they work extremely well, I think the part that i like best is with the open type buds installed.. I don't get that occlusion feeling when I speak, and that was a huge drawback of the Nuheara earbuds. I would highly recommend these and I have been at the Barbershop i own. Best product i have bought in a while, No buyers remorse with these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a first time hearing aid user. Having no other experience with hearing aids, I decided to give Bose hearing aids a try. I found them simple to use, as was their app. It takes a little getting used to in order to find the most comfortable settings for the surrounding environments. I started by wearing them a few hours at a time, and also experimenting with the controls on the app. I have had them for two weeks now and find them to be comfortable and effective in normal daily life. mawm

Very GOOD! Needs some finetuning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had hearing loss since I was a kid. I currently use hearing aids. I was happy about an opportunity to try these as they cut out the need for any middle men. On getting it, the unboxing experience was excellent. The case is perfect. The instructions are clear and simple. Pairing them to my phone via Bluetooth was simple and clean. The instructions on how to adjust them were clear as well. Initially I had some itching in both ears but this improved with use.
The sound amplification is very good as well. I could hear everything around me. I did use if for a week in multiple settings. At home, at work, in restaurants etc. In terms of sound amplification, it was better than my current hearing aids that were tuned to my hearing deficits. I also felt that the ability to adjust volume and multiple sound settings helped a lot in different settings when you feel it's too loud vs too quiet. Where my current hearing aids were better was in speech perception.
There are certain frequencies that I have problems with and my hearing aid was tailored to augment those frequencies. With the Bose SoundControl, I felt like I got an augmentation of all frequencies. This led to lesser speech perception. So, ultimately, I believe this will be ideal for someone with mild hearing loss. When you get to the moderate territory, depending on what exact deficits you have, you might be on more shaky grounds.

Works Better Than Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My high frequency hearing was damaged during the Vietnam war. I was told for years that hearing aids would not help much. But I thought I would give these a try given the price. I'm glad I did. Most activities are improved especially in noisy settings. Wish the batteries would last longer but they are easy to change and not expensive. Thanks Bose for developing these and improving my world.

Excellent alternative to my expensive hearing aide

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I broke my fiber cable and had no option for repair without waiting 2 weeks or more. My hearing aids were over 4 thousand although there are initiative and self adjusting.
I purchased the Bose Hearing Aids for emergency use and have been extremely satified. They literally are my go too rather than the expensive aids. I find very comfortable, easily adjustable whether use the phone app or behing the ear
Its a win for bose

I can hear the birds again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've worn hearing aids for 20 years, but the last pair I had didn't do the job anymore. And it didn't have an app to customize it. So I took a chance on these SoundControl hearing aids. Wonderful! Sometimes when I take a walk with my dog, I purposely mute them and then unmute them to see what I had been missing. The price is right. The app is great. The fit and finish is perfect.

My wife is more excited than I am

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried there over-the-counter amplifiers with mixed success. After a visit to the audiologist I decided to try the Bose. I'm delighted with the result. We can carry on "normal" conversations again and I can tailor the sound I'm getting using my phone. I'm already spreading the word.
