I have had these about 3 weeks. Very happy. Have worn hearing aids forabout 15 years. Several sets provided by the military. These are the best so far.

They work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been suffering from mild hearing loss for most of my adult life and I have always been reluctant to go through the hassle of going to a doctor’s office, running the usual tests and getting a set of prescribed hearing aids. I always thought I could manage and adapt to everyday situations. But then I came upon this Bose SoundControl Hearing Aids, which helped me avoid the whole audiologist ordeal, and now that I did it, I realize how much I was missing from life. THEY WORK! It took me a couple of days to learn how to get the proper setting through the app (which works amazingly by the way), but once I was done, I got to experience sounds that I’ve missed completely in the past. Being in a room full of people and not having to turn my head to focus my attention is something that I will definitely not miss. They are very small and light, almost unnoticeable to others and I don’t get tired of using them even forgetting I have them on. They come with different ear-tip sizes to accommodate to my ears perfectly. The first set of batteries did not last that long as I did not pay attention to the manual’s instruction to open the compartment to prevent them from draining completely (my fault). But after I started doing that, I noticed a significant increase in battery life. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this product to everybody looking for an quality option in hearing aids. 5 out of 5!

Hearing aids headed in the right direction finally

Hearing changes from day to day and the ability to make changes of the fly is essential. Looking forward to more user adjustments in the future. May 5 EQ bands? HPF, LPF and 3 parametrics would be wonderful. Compression adjustments would be nice but not essential

Enhanced hearing at an excellent price — Value!

I took the online hearing test and it revealed mild hearing loss. Since I discovered that I miss words when watching TV, and in conversations where background din causes parts of conversations to be missed, I decided to try the no risk (purchase refund policy) purchase. I am certainly glad that I tried the Bose hearing aids. They have practically eliminated all my hearing difficulties. The ability to change modes to match situations, e.g., set for TV, or for conversation, etc. The control of directionality, ease of use due to ultra light weight, etc, these hearing aids are an outstanding value.

Excellent Product Providing a World of Listening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As age kicks in, at times so does loss of hearing. This is where Bose SoundControl comes in and provides the experience that many have been missing. For years, some of the audio spectrum has been filtered out and Bose delivers what the ears and mind have been missing...and more!
They are extremely simple to setup and configure and they fit surprisingly well with negligible feel. The method to power on and off is something to get accustomed to given that there is auto on/off features in some ear buds that takes care of things. The configuration is simple and UI somewhat easy to follow, though it would be nice to have more of an equalizer feature than to be restrained to low/high tone enhancement. The directional filtering works like a champ and allows you to not be distracted if you wish...though it is quite nice to also be able to simply enhance everything around you and 'surround' yourself with ambient sounds of conversation and activity if you need the extra noise while reading or enjoying some good tea or coffee.
I would definitely recommend SoundControl to someone who is starting to explore their needs for assisted listening. They work great as is out of the box and will enjoy being able to get back into the world listening to everything they have missed.

New Bose Hearing Aids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried numerous hearing aids recommended with assistance of a professional audiologist and was not satisfied with the sound quality for the price. i also tried the new Eargo 5 hearing aids and although I like the style the reliability was dreadful. So far I am thrilled with sound qaulity and comfort of my new Bose hearing aids. I would like to see more features and options added in the future, but these are by far the best value on the market today.
