Not quite perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the hub itself works fine the faceplate cover cracked and a chip fell off almost immediately. This is my second Hyper for the M1 iMac and the face plate on the first one was very poor as well. The device itself it very well done and very handy. I just wish the attention to detail was a bit better. I would still buy again.

Ectremely Non-durable

Looks really good, however…
USB flash disks get extremely not when plugged in. For those USB disks with metal casing, the temperature is so high that humans cannot tolerate. I need to drop it on the table after unplugging.
Bought Jan 2022.
September 2022, both USB-A ports worked with USB 3.0 disk but failed to work with USB 2.0 disks. It was replaced with a NEW one by the HK distributor (Warranty period 1 yr instead of 2 yrs). The staff said the high temperature was normal.
October 2023, it presented 2 problems:
1. The microSD slot could not be inserted perpendicularly. It could not catch the microSD card. Of course, it could not read the card.
2. Some USB flash drives worked in both USB-A ports, some worked with the orange port, some did not work with both ports.

I am very frustrated with the USB hub. It is not cheap but the first one failed after 8 months and the second one failed after 11 months. HK distributor refused replacement.

After upgrading to a new 24" Mac, I used the HyperDrive 6-in-1 USB-C Hub to quickly temporarily connect my external devices directly from the front of the computer rather than turning it around to access the ports.
I would recommend this to a friend!
