I opted for this grill because the weber I am currently using is still working after 35 years. It’s steel base rusting away, so I decided it is due for replacement. It went together easily. I will test it shortly. The built in temperature probes are a huge bonus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a genesis for years and decided to look at new. The spirit SX315 was a good option. No more guessing on the meat temperatures. It heats up fast and is a perfect size! I really like this grill and how it worked with my phone
I purchased my grill on-line and it was delivered with damage on the lid and cabinet door. I contacted Weber and the sent replacement parts ASAP. I love my third Weber grill as much as the first two I owned! Not likely to ever own any other brand.
High quality "smart" grill with a number of convenience features including being able to monitor status from smartphone. Heats up quickly. Like the propane tank weighing feature to tell you when it is getting low.
Difficult to keep temp low still playing with it. Tried turning off two side burners helped.

The reason for the low rating is the fact that a key electronic module was not included. This is a key factor in using the dashboard. Probably in short supply but still selling the grill.

The materials seem flimsy. Who designs a grill that is outside that always looks like it needs it's metal finishes cleaned? The stainless was damaged...had striations throughout. I got this as a corporate gift so can't return it. The design is poor...the top opens up so high I can't reach to open it easily and am always afraid I'll burn myself it's so high, and I'm 5'5". My old Weber Spirit, close to 20 yrs old, was much better. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend always wearing a grilling glove when opening and closing the grill. It may also hope to stand at the side of the grill and use the side of the handle to open and close it when it is hot.
