Very good but I’d like it to also have a traditional thermometer in case your batteries run out

Had my new Weber gas grill for a little over a year now and happy to say it’s doing great. Just like my previous webers over 25 years, great performance! About 6 months in had a problem with the cooking grids and Weber replaced them straight away, great after the sale service.
Weber quality for sure, as the grill was packed with excellent care. Easy to assemble with clear instructions and only a few hand tools needed, though I did use a power drill to speed the process a little. The grills can be flipped for a different grill mark look if you so choose. Has a nifty propane weight scale to measure the amount of propane...cool sure but a pain to get the propane can on the hook when full. I thought a digital temp gauge with meat probe would be a more 'accurate' way of watching temps while cooking..thus the 3 star. No auto shut off as you must remember to shut down 'the smart hub' manually after cooking or overnight the 6 D batteries will drain to nothing so you will need to replace next time grilling (silly me, I replaced them twice so far) There's is no separate on/off button but press any button to power up...if your batteries are good. This grill heats up very quickly which can be viewed pro or con. As a gas grill it's wise to mind the wind or the flame will blow out. This my first Weber.
This solid BBQ grill is the second one I own but in a different location. Assembly instructions are good, all parts are clearly labeled and my daughter put it together in less than an hour as I was ill at the time. We have grilled both ground beef kabobs as well as steaks on the grill with no issues. Heat distribution is fairly even across the grill but the front is always less hot than the back which may serve certain grilling modes where you want different heat zones! I deducted one star for this issue.
