Terrible APP! Probes cook steak rather well bone or rare. I want medium!!

I’m disappointed with the electronic temperature gauge that requires batteries. It takes 6 D batteries, but died within the first month.

seems that cannot regulate temp very well. when in lowest setting, still runs very hot

My SX-315 performs very well and is generally well made. It is well designed for easy cleaning. The electronic features work reasonably well after making the Bluetooth connection. It's great to be able to accurately monitor temperatures on the app and the probe worked perfectly. It's a handsome piece of equipment, but I found the temperature control knobs to have a surprisingly cheap and loose feel, and the markings are less than useful. Assembly isn't difficult, but the instructions weren't a model of clarity.
