This is the first air purifier I have ever had. I bought it to get rid of cooking odors, especially when I use my indoor grill and air fryer. I have to say that 4-5 hours after I use my grill, I can barely notice any cooking odors. It works perfectly for my purposes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very simple, straight forward device. I love that it had a child lock option, because I have 4 curious kids that love to push buttons. The nightlight feature is also an added bonus! We are using this in our bedroom and have eliminated both the nightlight and noise machine we had been using previously, thanks to this device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cuisinart PURxIUM Air Purifier is contained in a sleek unit, is easy to move, and is effective. The touch-screen control panel is easy to use-- once you realize that the panel only shows up if the unit is plugged in! To avoid the initial frustration of trying to locate the control panel, the instruction booklet should alert that the control panel only shows up after the unit is plugged in.

Seems to help keeping the air fresher. We use it in our bedroom. The highest fan speed is a little noisy but it's easy enough to turn it down some.
