She even tells others how well this is cooking the food. The support from Weber has been outstanding. I do wish the Weber connect app had a few more preset cooking programs and recipes.

It’s pretty good at set and forget it and is able to reach temps pretty easily. The app mostly works pretty well but I wish there was graphing capabilities like other major wireless thermometers. I also didn’t love the stock grates for getting sear marks so I swapped my cast iron ones from my Spirit 300 and love the improvement. Overall I’d definitely get it again.

My first cook was salmon, three filets, and they came out perfect following the recommendations from the app. Using the temp probe I removed them when desired temp was reached. Perfectly cooked from the thinnest to the thickest part, juicy and sweet. Now my expensive cuts will come out perfect every time thanks to the consistent temp control I could never achieve with my Charcoal grill!! Product design appears to be well thought out. Thanks Weber!

I know that this smoker/grill has had some issues but I bought it based on Weber’s reputation to stand behind its products. It has worked great in the cold weather of Ohio. Cannot wait until warmer weather is here and I can use it even more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great grill that is MADE IN THE USA. They need to advertise this fact more. I have gone through at least 6 cooks from pizza to burgers to steaks. Perfect cooks every time. No issues with the pellets or temps! Second gen is working great! The Android app is slightly buggy, but not buggy enough to stop you from having good cooks. It also sometimes shows temps off by 1 degree (set to 400, app shows 399).

I’ve had no issues so far and have used it multiple times and for 12+ hour long cooks. Keep it clean, don’t store pellets in the hopper, and keep the software updated. Great product and I know that Weber will stand behind their product if any issues do eventually arise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the SmokeFire EX4 (2nd gen) as a christmas gift And love it. It is replacing my Traeger. I have ran about 100 pounds of pellets thru it using the SmokeFire as a grill I made some fantastic ribeyes with a nice sear and a great wood flavor. I grilled burgers and hot dogs both came out great. I have used it as smoker making pulled pork and shredded chuck roast and a brisket. All came out fantastic. Great smoke flavor and bark with a nice smoke ring. I used it as an oven and baked a really nice meatloaf it also had a great flavor. I really like to cook poultry on it I start with smoking then turn temperature up to get a good texture on the skin that has that bite through clean that everyone likes. I had zero issues on all my cooks. The flavor from the SmokeFire is much better then the Traeger.
