I had been wanting to get a pellet girl for a few years, but was reluctant to get rid of my Weber Genesis that had served me well since 1996. When I heard Weber was in the market now, I did my research and was discouraged by many of the comments about the first generation smoke fire. But once I learned that the second generation had remediated many of the concerns, I was ready to go. I've had it for less than a month now and I absolutely love it! It is replacing both my Genesis and my Smoky Mountain. I have done multiple cooks, both grilling and smoking...I'm ecstatic!

easy to use. Good temperature control. the fan is a bit loud, especially when shutting down. App is bare bones. Build quality is great. Well insulated. I can hold my hand on the sides and top while smoking at 250 and not be burned.

I used it twice. First time was amazing. Did a ham for easter. the ham tasted great. second time was chicken. i did all my usual preparations as for my other smoker. the weber went out with an error code just before the meat was to temp. I checked the burn pot and it was clear, that's what the error code was for. so i started it again and the was excess pellets so it smoked a lot to get going. when it did it went up to 510 fast and had a fire. not cool. I will learn the weber some more. Not going to use it near my porch though. Glad i kept an eye on the smoker or it could have been bad.

Great product with great fit and finish! It was one of the easiest products I’ve put together, and the instructions were very clear and easy. I love the versatility of it. We have a gas grill and since you can get this thing up to 400-600 degrees I’ve started grilling steaks and other meat on it and don’t even touch our gas grill anymore. I love the communication with the app and I am glad to see that there are still products out there that live up to their name.

I was unsure if I wanted to adopt the pellet grill technology since I had grown so comfortable with cooking with propane for the last 25 years. I am amazed at the capabilities of this device, it’s ability to hold consistent temperatures, it’s ability to produce an actual flame, and the taste of the finished barbecue is unlike I’ve ever made before. When you purchase the unit, make sure YOU put it together. If you have any hesitation about how the unit will wear and fail over time, you’ll quickly learn about it’s potential break points, how to troubleshoot and remediate issues.
