High quality engineering and materials. Easy to assemble. We use primarily for smoking at low temperatures. Controls are easy and intuitive. Holds temperature very well in all Ohio weather conditions. Bought the wet smoking kit out of concern for excessive grease buildup mentioned in other reviews. Stopped using it. Trim the fat from your meat and clean your smoker every 1-2 uses and you won't have any problems. The temperature probe works very well. Dry rubs have worked best for us on beef and pork.
Really pleased with pellet grill. I think Weber did a solid job on this grill. Maybe a little high on price ...but what isn't these days. Really like being able to cook steaks just like my old gas Weber as well as smoking other meats and foods.
Love the grill. It is truly an all in one grill. I have cooked steak, ribs, chicken wings, chicken and it has been great! Highly recommend and also customer service has been great. Had a damaged part and had the replacement in two days
This unit gets really hot, but you do get a lot of ashes out of the fire

Thank you for being a long time Weber fan! We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback regarding the Smokefire EX4. We are happy to hear your grill is getting hot and you are enjoying grilling on it.
We designed Smoke Fire to direct ash (and grease) downward, avoiding food as much as possible.
Wood naturally produces ash while burning, so there is a possibility with any pellet grill that some ash is found inside of and below, the cookbox.
Weber engineers took great measures to uniquely design a pellet grill that directs ash down and into an enclosed system so that very little ash should ever reach the cooking grate area.
You'll notice more than usual the first time your grill is used, and that is okay. We recommend cleaning the burn pot and cookbox push the ash into the ash and grease drawer with the provided Weber scraper. See your owner's manual for more details.
Please keep in mind the grill is designed for Weber all natural pellets for optimal performance.
