The grill works well and does what I want. I assembled it myself and was disappointed with the quality of materials used.
The non-locking wheels would not thread into the legs. The locking wheels would thread into any of the legs. This led me to believe the issue was with the threads on the wheel mount. Using a channel-locks to thread one of the wheels in, resulted in the threads getting fouled up. I was supposed to be getting the non-locking wheels and a replacement leg. Weber sent the leg, but not the wheels. Grill is immobile and sitting on some block to keep it level so I am able to grill food. Has a great trailer park vibe to it.

Love this grill! Smokes and hold temp better than anything I’ve used in the past. Super easy with the Weber app and Wi-Fi connection. Sears meat to perfection and long smoking days are effortless now!
The Weber presets on the app could use some additional functionality and customizeability, but work fine for the vast amount of grilling/smoking.
The lower section under the grill could benefit from some storage for pellets or grill “stuff” and the stock wheels are useless on anything other than smooth, level surfaces.
All in all, it’s great! Could use a little tweaking in future versions.

For a person who never thought he’d buy a pellet grill, I’m very impressed. With ten cooks under my belt, I’ve had no issues whatsoever. Assemble it properly, and do basic cleaning periodically, and it’ll treat you right.

Bought mine in early july. Have been using every excuse to use it. Love the temp range and control the SF offers. I can honestly say the SF provides more smoke flavor than my PB grill does. Would give 5 star rating but pellet bridging can happen during high temp cooks. The electronics were easy to set up (not a computer guy) and can monitor temps away from home. When I purchased the SF It has to prove itself to be great or it will be replaced with another brand,so far I'm impressed. Use the weber sized pellets and it will be good.

Grill works good. I've only used it twice though.
The threads on the rear castors were bad. It took almost three weeks to get replacements. But you were very helpful and sent me lots of free stuff for the inconvenience. So thank you.

Easy to assemble. Quick startup - about the same as a gas grill. Even temperature and heat and really moist cooking with a pan under the meat. A little dusty compared to charcoal. Easy cleanup.

After 6 years of my WSM I decided to spend the money and upgrade to a pellet grill. Heard the 1st gen was a bomb so buying this one was a risk. So far, I’m pretty satisfied. Overall, it’s way better than my WSM. The flavor it’s not quite as good but everything else makes up for it.

I bought this to replace an older charcoal grill. I've never been a big fan of gas grills, and had been thinking about a pellet grill to replace my old charcoal for some time. I was originally looking mostly at the most popular brand of pellet grill, but was seeing lackluster reviews for grilling quick cooks like burgers, steaks, and chicken. They seemed to center mostly around the fact that the other brand didn't get hot enough. I stumbled across the Smoke Fire, and started looking in to it. It gets hotter, and gets hotter faster, and its about half the price of the comparable model from the other guys. I know there was a few issues with the Smoke Fire when they were first launched, but from what I can tell, they have been resolved. I've run about a bag and a half of pellets through mine so far, and have had zero issues. I haven't had a chance to do a long cook yet, but so far every meal has been a sucess. I look forward to many great meals to come on this grill
