Very easy to use, cleanup is a breeze, we did a chuck roast, and a butt at the same time, both turned out fantastic. Definitely glad we went with the Smokefire.
A little uneven heat, but once you understand, it's not a problem. That being said, I've got an offset smoker, a gas grill and a kettle grill. This replaces all of them! The smoke boost is awesome. I've done ribs, steak, burgers, brats, hot dogs, poor man's burnt ends and a smoked pork butt. All turned out awesome. Cleanup is really very easy. Awesome replacement for my other griils/smoker.
The Weber EX4 is a great pellet grill! I've owned it for about a month now and I love the ease of use and the dependability of the cook temp. I've owned a WSM cooker for many years. I love the results I get from it, but I hate having to babysit it. The EX4 is a dream come true. The reason I give it 4 stars is because it produces a lot of ash. When the fan kicks in, it blows it throughout the grill. Also, the WeberConnect software is somewhat slow to respond at times. I have it connected via bluetooth and wifi. Overall, I'm thrilled with it and would recommend it to others.
Hope you like to clean, she is a dirty girl with lots of sharp edges

The SmokeFire EX4 is a fantastic pellet grill. I have never used a pellet grill before and am so happy that this grill is both easy to use and is very low-maintenance. It only took me about minutes during initial setup to connect my phone to the grill and get to cooking. Nice even cooking during a low and slow smoke. A bit uneven grilling surface.
Pros: - Weber Connect app interface is super simple and clean. - The hopper fits a whole bag of pellets and has lasted over 3 cooks so far. - Very fast start-up time to get up to temperature. - Grease and ash drawer is very easy to use. - Build quality is great and shows 0 signs of rust so far. - Plenty of cooking space.
Cons: - Bluetooth range on the grill to app connection is very limited. Would have to be under 100ft away with no interferences. - The hopper capacity may not be able to sustain super long cooks (ie brisket, pork butt, etc) - Flavorizer bars don't stay in place. Have to balance at just the right angle. - Heat is a bit inconsistent when grilling. Leans more hot towards the middle and right side of the grill.
I have enjoyed using this smoker for a few different types of cooks. I haven't done any extremely long smokes, but the hopper has great capacity, the temps seem to hold very consistently, and having the built in probes is pretty awesome. There is room for improvement, especially in the hopper, as even with the second generation it seems the pellets do not slide as well. This is the best looking smoker I've seen on the market, so it's a nice addition to the patio. The casters need to be improved, these ones barely make it over normal sidewalk cracks. The accessory options on this are also pretty awesome, with the folding front table and an additional side table.
So far it has been a good experience as I am also learning more about use. We've done a spatchcock chicken, pork ribs, pizza and today a chuck roast. We did note however that when we lowered temp to 355 and then raised back to 580 the system fed fuel so quickly it smothered itself out. As PID control might be addressed with a firmware adjustment to slow the fuel feed when making major temp changes up.
This pellet smoker is great. I have cooked about six times on it now and it works great as a smoker as well as a regular grill. I additionally have a Weber propane grill bought in 1983 and 2002. Both grills still work well and have had only minor repairs. The pellet grill with the exacting controls, smoking ability and high temp capability makes grilling a breeze. I particularly like the built in timers and the app control.
