I had nothing but trouble with this grill.....do not buy ...always loved Weber products in the past but they have lost my confidence in the company...too many things went wrong to write about. Thank goodness the store where I bought are going to come and get it and refund my money.....

For the seasoned griller, it’s not much fun. The whole “set it and forget it” part makes for a boring afternoon of smoking brisket or ribs. Half the fun is getting there. I miss my 22” kettle. That’s not to say the Smokefire isn’t a quality product and doesn’t put out some delicious smoked meats. It’s just not for the person who enjoys using their hard learned skills.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello! We are sorry to hear about the flare-up you experienced.
When cooking fattier foods on any type of grill, flare ups might occur as grease hits the heat source. To prevent this from taking place, we recommend the use of drip pans for longer cooks with all of our products, just like a smoker, charcoal, and gas grill.
Placement should be in between the Flavorizer bars and the grates. This will capture excess grease and make cleaning up SmokeFire easy.
Please remember to clean the grill after a low & slow cook as well. If you need any additional assistance, please be sure to reach out to our support team. Thanks!
