Temperature drops all the time. Auger has a hard time feeding pellets and there is a definite hot spot. For the money, this grill should be perfect.

Weber still has a lot of work to do. Bluetooth is very unreliable. Can't set up WiFi without Bluetooth working. Being able to reach 600° is a nice feature.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! We are sorry to hear about the trouble with your Bluetooth. The Bluetooth does need to be connected first to set up the wifi. This unit will continue to evolve, and we will release new firmware and software updates to help improve your grilling experience! We will share this with our design team. Thank you!
Great food. Can get nice grill marks. Software integration is a bit wonky and so far not real helpful. Temp probes are very useful. Meats have been a little done but still learning to use unit. Discharge shoot for unused pellets has not worked real cleanly. Always seem to make a mess dropping some pellets on my patio. Am trying to avoid leaving excess pellets in unit and no way to clear auger. Live in coastal climate with marine layer that potentially might lead to gumming up auger with moistened pellet. A worry but not seen yet. Clean out of ash every time is dirty and slightly annoying. Multiple messy parts (2 grates, 5 flavor bars and box over heating element) that need to be removed and then replaced. Little spatula tool is barely useful. A small brush/broom device would be helpful. Looking for one. General ash dusty is slightly annoying. The grease collection pans are a poor fit under grates if using a water/steam cooking technique. Overall very pleased to date.

There’s nothing worse than a product that doesn’t start, doesn’t work and can’t do what it’s designed to do.

I am a die hard Weber fan but the smoke fire is a hunk of crap. Yes it does get very hot for a pellet grill but don’t waste your money on it. I’ve had it less than a year and it constantly breaks down. Pellets get stuck (yes I’m using Weber pellets), the grill can’t maintain temperature at high temps, one side will char meat and the other will barely brown. I’ve had to replace the circuit board once and as I’m writing this I’m probably going to have to replace it again because the grill won’t even turn on. I turned it on to warm up and like many times before the glow plug isn’t working so I shut it down. After going through the 15 minutes of terror waiting for the shutdown I turned it off. Went to turn it back on and nothing. Bricked. Weber makes great charcoal and gas grills but this thing is so bad if I were Weber I’d be embarrassed. Stay away!

We were never able to actually cook a meal on this grill. Since day one we have had challenges with it. After several times of troubleshooting, we made the decision to return the grill. We have now been waiting several weeks to get the grill picked up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking grill but totally unreliable. When it works.. it’s great but unfortunately there are problems that Weber has not solved. Used the grill 5 times. Had problems 2 out of 5 attempts. Problems were with auger feeding to many pellets and temperature skyrocketing. Other problem was fire went out 3 times in a row so i could not cook. They arre picking up the grill as i am returning it. Their customer service is great. Weber is new to pellet game and they have not worked out the technology yet.

Hello! We are very sorry to hear that your grill has not been operating properly. We have reached out via email to offer some assistance. Thanks!
My first two cooking experiences with this grill were quite poor. During my first cook the grill did not maintain temperature and had two very different zones one at 200 and the other at 500. My second cook was worse, it started with a plume of smoke and never reached temperature. I eventually called support. They helped me by providing a fix contradictory to what the instructions for the product outline. I will try a few more cooks and provide follow up if possible.
