The new Smokefire helped me replace a charcoal grill, electric smoker and pizza oven to clear space on deck. The smoker worked great and easy transition from charcoal. First attempt at St Louis Ribs worked out great!
Very high-quality construction. Heats quickly, and evenly. The app is painless to configure, offers great control with cooking modes and provides cooking alerts. The drawer for ash debris and drippings makes clean-up a breeze. Definitely an upgrade from my prior smoker. Glad I ordered.
Returned, fan melted on first start. After replacing heating element did not work. After replacing smoker would not turn on. Gave up after 2 weeks and no smoked meats.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very good Wi-Fi interface. Was easy to assemble. Does a great job of smoking and searing. Was using a different brand but the build quality of the Weber is superior.
I bought this quality branded grill to replace a different brand pellet smoker/grill. The first 3 times I used it to make the best smoked Tri-Tip ever. The clean up maintenance was very easy and overall I was so impressed. The 4th time I tried to use this grill, it started to shut down while it was heating up. I followed all the troubleshooting steps from the manual and then the display went out and after lots more troubleshooting, replacing a fuse that didn’t need to be replaced, more troubleshooting with online help from Weber, it turns out that the mother board is dead. I am very disappointed that a quality brand like this would malfunction in such a colossal way after only 3 uses and loving maintenance. I’m still waiting for my replacement mother board since they are on back order.

Lives up to the Weber reputation! I have been contemplating a pellet smoker/grill for quite some time and have not been disappointed with the Smokefire.
We just used our new smoker to smoke some ribs. The meat fell off the bones and the smoky flavor was perfect! We previously owned a Pitt Boss that did not keep a consistent temperature, which was very problematic. The Weber Smoke Fire pellet grill was easy to use. The app feature was great! Being able to check the grill temperature, the cooking time and the meat temperature with an iPhone made it so convenient! We are looking forward to smoking a turkey for Thanksgiving.
