I was looking for a grill to replace both my Weber gas grill and my other “T” pellet smoker to save space and after getting my EX4…selling both of those. Smokes better than my other pellet grill and grills just as good as my gas grill. Get one.

Unbelievably easy. I’m not a newbie to grills, but I am to pellet grilling. I never thought it would be this easy to make the best grilled/smoked meats in my life. It turn cheap burger patties into something out of a high end restaurant. The most flavorful moist chicken ever. My own home made beef jerky. Being able to control it from my phone, and knowing it’s at the correct temperature is awesome. Having the ability to crank up the heat and the quick recovery is what sold me. Well, that and Weber’s legacy. I’ve owned many many Weber grills, but they were either hand me downs or off the secondary market. This is the first Weber grill I have purchased brand new, and I couldn’t be happier. I cook on it 4-5 times a week, my wife is so happy about not having to worry about what’s for dinner anymore. Well done on the Gen II.

Overall the smoker is amazing! However, when it arrived it was missing three pieces and one piece was damaged. So I had to wait another week before everything showed up. I have smoke ribs, brisket, burnt ends and vegetables and everything has turned out great!

Amazingly easy to use and the taste of the food from steaks, pork and fish are much more flavorful than from my Weber propane gas grill
Only compliant is the very noise, long 15 mins and annoying shut down cycle our outdoor dining is near the grill - the shut down noise can kill the ambiance

This grill has done a fabulous job of cooking everything from filet mignon to pork butts, the ease of setup and use is great. Only one reason I am not giving it four stars is it seems to be missing some basic functionality, like the ability to program a cook. I would love to program the grill to start on smokeboost, than 1 hour later swtich to a programmed temperature, and then based on the probe temp switch to another temp...this seems pretty simple to incorporate into the app, or even the menu on the grill. Weber please do this!

This is a solid well made appliance. Very accurate temperature control that produces consistent results with all proteins. Would suggest that the hopper somehow be redesigned to improve pellet feed for long burns and not create false low pellet alerts. The smokefire app could use some adjustments to provide easier intuitive access to temperature and time adjustments.
