This grill worked perfect for the first 6mos, absolutely love it. However the next 5 mos have been nothing but problems. It will heat up to the set temperature for about ten minutes and then the temperature slowly declines. Weber has sent replacement parts that have not yet fixed the problem. Very disappointed, Weber has such a great reputation for a quality product and this one is not that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little smoker/ grill. I do have the occational flame out and the last few cooks im hereing a creaking noise from the feeder, gonna clean it all out and keep an eye on it over the next few cooks

I cooked some pork tenderloin cutlets at 500 deg for4 or 5 minutes, they were a perfectly pink medium. Then I smoked a 4 pound piece of pork shoulder, 7 hours at 235 deg. Internal temp was 208. It was as fine a piece of pulled pork as I have ever cooked in nearly 40 years of smoking meat.

Great smoker that is easy to use and has all of the modern bells and whistles that a beginner or advanced BBQer could ask for. WiFi connectivity for fire and forget long cooks are top of the list for this night shift worker who doesn’t want to spend his whole day off watching a grill. Buy American!

Love the Smoke Fire. Light it up 10 minutes later steaks on. No waiting for charcoal to get going. Shut it down, pellets stop no wasted charcoal. Wind friendly, ashes and sparks are at a minimum when you open it in windy conditions. Temperature easily controlled food is moist and delicious. Weber has excellent customer service.

Previously had a Weber Genesis propane grill ~20 years old, worked great but handed down to my son, he loves it. Food from the Smokefire tastes nicer. The notifications via the app are nice. Experimenting with timings for cooking complete meals as we tended to just cook burgers or steaks on the Genesis. Pleased with the purchase, wish you could add your own recipes or cook programs in the app or even add notes. Nice sturdy product.
