The grill works great. Just set the temperature you want and the grill maintains that temperature. It also does a great job with searing steaks and hamburgers. The grill is very well built and should last for years with proper care and maintenance. I would highly recommend this grill.
So far, so good! Smoked a couple of chickens, duck breast, boudin, pork tenderloin and cooked a New York strip and all have turned out excellent. I’m somewhat of a stickler for keeping things new”ish” so have cleaned thoroughly after each session. It takes a little time but no flare ups or auger issues ever. The flavors are all lip-smacking good and we are very pleased with our purchase.
The unit is well constructed and the app assisted instructions for putting it all together (along with the printed version) were very helpful.
After days of research l finally decided for a Weber ex4. The smoker was shipped promptly and arrived very well packed. The color instructions manual is very precise. Assembly is easy if you take your time and follow precisely the manual. Study carefully each picture for each step and you will be fine. It took me a little more than two hours. The only problem l had was one if the two screws maintaining the front handle was malformed. I emailed Weber and they immediately sent me a couple of screws. The smoker worked like a charm firt time and my only regret is to not have ordered it earlier.

Ordered the SmokeFire 1st of the year and it did not show up until February. Shipping company was not helpful and at times did not know where the unit was, Always a good thing to hear from a shipping company. I ordered the front and side shelves at the same time and they were delivered by FedEx Pretty fast. I was contacted by Weber customer service when they heard about the missing unit, and I must say Emily D from Weber was great! She really handled my situation quickly and made sure I was happy with the purchase. The unit itself is well built and all the electrical components work perfect. Use it almost every day and have had zero shutdowns or errors pop up unlike my last unit which was not a Weber. Thing just works great and the family is loving the meals we cook on it!

Best bark ever achieved on a pellet smoker.

I was hesitant to purchase this smoker from the problems the first gen smoker had. They have definitely fixed the issues they had in the past. This is my 3rd pellet smoker and it by far puts out better smoke flavor and bark than my previous 2. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I had an issue with a knotty wood brand of pellets . They did not feed right and jammed the auger. After I left a review. I did hear back from customer service about this issue. They did send me 2 free bags of Weber pellets to try and was very fast and easy. You could tell they really cared about my thoughts and there product. This is some of the best customer service I have ever received.
I've grilled and smoked a few different cuts so far including steaks, bratwursts, and a whole turkey breast. All came out very good, but the turkey breast was by far the best. The first two attempts were cuts and pieces more for quick grilling. The searing feature for the steaks worked okay at 500 degrees but next time I plan on a higher temperature (550 - 600 degrees). I just didn't get the searing effect I had become accustomed to with the infra-red gas grill. The bratwursts were very good and quite flavorful only cooking for about an hour. But the turkey breast was phenomenal. I smoked it at 225 for about 7.5 hours (10 lbs). Best I've ever had. I found a simple dry rub of salt, pepper, and dried rosemary that I turned into a wet rub by adding some EVOO. I then used the excess wet rub as a baste about every 2 hours. I definitely plan to do this again.
