I’m giving it 3 stars because of the how good customer service has been. I have had nothing but trouble with this grill after I got it. If I were just rating the grill I would have given it 1-2 at best. The grill is well built and produces excellent meat, but I couldn’t keep it running. Webber has been committed to getting it right and have sent me a new controller, power supply, igniter, ect. Last time I used it seemed to be working well now, but still need to do an extended smoke to be sure.

We recommend using a drip pan when doing long, slow cooks. Our 6416 Summit drip pans fit perfectly between the cooking grates and Flavorizer bars and make clean-up a breeze.

Had some issues at first but I believe I've worked the bugs out of it. Been using Weber products (kettles and gas grills) for 40 years and have had exceptional quality and service life on all of them. This one gave me some fits the second and third run and would not stay lit. I re-assembled the unit as it appeared that a couple of items may have shifted in transit (it was delivered assembled). Since then, its been fine. Not nearly as simple as a traditional kettle but it is easier to maintain a steady temperature especially on a cold and windy Oregon winter night.

4 stars only because I've not fired it up yet. Assembly went smooth and seems to reek of quality. I trust Weber has corrected the problems with the first generation SmokeFire grills. Time will tell as I'm just waiting for milder weather to get smoking.

Works well. Can grill steaks at a high temperature if you want it to or slow smoke/cook chicken for hours. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections are great to have.

After much research I decided on the Weber Smokefire pellet smoker. I own other Weber products and have never been disappointed. I have used it as a Smoker and a Grill and in both applications it exceeded my expectations. I'm looking forward to many more cooks!
Overall I've enjoyed this grill. The sear is good for high heat cooking. The low and slow works well. I have had it leave me stranded a couple of times. After 3 months, the igniter went out. One other time something with the firmware got borked and I couldn't get it to work until I did a reset on it. I've also had the fuel sensor go out which Weber sent me a replacement for. I like this grill and want to love it, but it's had a few issues that were never present with the simplicity of my old Weber Genesis.
