Augur motor died on the 6th grill but Weber responded immediately and I received the new motor and installed it with no problem at all.

I have had this for for almost 5 months and love it. I moved to Weber from a different brand while looking for a larger smoker. I love the wireless features, the ease of cleaning, the spacious room, and the results I am getting. I have smoked ribs, chicken, steaks, pork belly and also did some roasts on it. All results have been great. From a grilling perspective it also has been awesome! My BIL said the best burgers he has ever had has come off this.
Easy to put together, simple enough to maintain, great to use. What more do I want?

Having recently downsized into a condo, I was looking for a grill /smoker combo. Most of the other pellet grills do not have the high temp range to get a good sear on a steak. After smoking a pork butt, grilling hamburgers, steaks and chicken, I'm happy to say I made the right choice. Super easy smoking and plenty of heat for grilling.

Weber got it right when they designed this grill. It comes up to temp quickly and control is easy with the Weber Connect app. The temp probes for the meat make watching internal temp a breeze. I am amazed at how little pellets it uses. Clean up is easy.

Con: First beef brisket good, but needed more bark (maybe more smoke boost) Hard to find 2” drip/water pans. Would like to see Weber “oak or post oak” pellets. Would like a humidity proof storage for pellets. Not sure about using other’s pellets.

Regarding the concerns on your list, we definitely recommend trying the SmokeBoost feature to enhance your smoking experience. Our Weber Foil Pans (part 6416) are 2" high and can be purchased directly from our website. We also offer a Weber Fuel Storage Bag (part 7007) that is weather-resistant and made to keep your fuel dry. We appreciate your suggestion for oak or post-oak pellets. We currently use oak in our Mesquite and Hickory pellet blend and hope you will give them a try.

I just received my EX4 Smokefire and have had only one cooking experience on it since we are getting so much rain. It was for Tri-tip, basically slow smoked it with an Espresso coffee rub and then did a reverse sear with a cast iron pan and butter. It was excellent and even my husband and son loved it. I have never used a smoker and was surprised at how easy it was. It was as good or even better then any BBQ restaurant (can't wait to try ribs). I didn't seem to have any problems with it mechanically since it seems that some people have had these. Since it's only my first time, there might be some later on but for now I am very happy with it.
