I’ve been a Weber owner for probably close to 20 years, and I’m very impressed with the quality, durability and reliability of their grills. A little over 3 weeks ago I decided to purchase the SmokeFire EX4 (2nd Generation). This is my first experience using a smoker, and I couldn’t be more pleased. The wood pellet and temperature control systems work amazingly well. Temperature changes are quick, and the temperature control is stellar. I’m sure a dedicated smoker might perform a bit better, but I’ve smoked everything from brisket, tri-tip, ribs and wings to vegetables, baked beans and even mac & cheese. I also love the flexibility to do both smoking and searing on the same unit. The ability to monitor and control the unit remotely from your smartphone, while certainly not essential, is a real bonus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Continues to perform

I have had the SmokeFire EX4 for just over a month now and I use it about 4 days a week. It continues to preform for me as advertised. I have used the SmokeBoost for smoking Bacon, I made an amazing Brisket (275 degrees), Chicken Wings (400 degrees), searing Steaks, Chicken, Burgers and Shrimp Skewers (600 degrees) even Pizza (600 degrees). I have really enjoyed the versatility that the EX4 provides. Initially, I had a couple of auger jams and temp. dropped which resulted in a restart but have not had any problems as of late. I have been super pleased with the grill, it replaces one of Weber's top competitor that now sits in the garage.

I love my SmokeFire so far. I have not had any issues with it. I clean it every time I cook. It has made the best meat and vegetables. I have tried steak, pork ribs, rack of lamb and a bone-in prime rib, plus asparagus and zucchini. Delicious!

It is an excellent Smoker/BBQ. Easy installation instructions and very easy to use! Works as advertised! I gave 4 stars because an inside light and a place to storage the probes are missing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the Smokefire for a few months and I’m very happy with it. Sometimes it feels like cheating though. This is my first pellet grill. Not tending it every half hour / hour took some time for me to get used to, but I love the convenience now. Out running errands and getting stuck in traffic sux, being able to turn the heat down from my Weber app on my phone allowed me to relax and it saved the meal! Only complaint is the ramp in the hopper is not steep enough, but everyone mentions that. I can go six hours before needing to sweep the pellets down the ramp, or add more. Overall I would absolutely recommend this grill. Smoking low and slow, then cranking it up to seer some steaks; this grill does it all. I love it. P. S. I’ve never had a grease fire as some have reported.

I have made baby back ribs and chicken thighs with my SmokeFire, and they were the BEST smoked ribs and chicken I have ever made. Wonderful smokey flavor, juicy and tender. The 250 degree temperature was consistent, and controls easy to use.
Right out of the box I liked the SmokeFire. The directions were clear and it was easy to assemble.

We bought our ex4 about a month ago and have really enjoyed cooking on it. We have not tried the super smoke feature yet but our first meal was some salmon and mixed vegetables that we cooked at 250 and the whole family commented how good it tasted.
