[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had an issue with power after getting it set up, but customer service was amazing, and walked me through how to reseat the power on the motherboard. They stayed on the phone with me, and I was ready to go in 20 minutes. I usually have something on it once or twice per week, and expect that to grow once it warms up. I had thought about the EX6, but have been able to put 3 racks of ribs, and 2 shoulders on at once.
If there was one gripe, I’d like there to be a full size upper shelf inside.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Weber pellet grill is the most expensive but the most productive and easy to use grill we have ever owned. For years I thought the only way to cook outside was the Weber kettle but boy was I surprised. We don’t even enjoy going out to eat anymore because we can grill better food at home. Every time we cook I am just amazed at the flavor, moistness and convenience of the food cooked on this grill. We can’t really make a mistake using our grill while it delivers restaurant quality food.
Basically a good product. It heats very well and fast and also very high (600 degrees). However it seems to use a lot of pellets over time on medium heat. But then it has a large grilling area; which is good. The only downside all the ash does not make it to the ash catcher. Any amount of breeze seems to blow a lot of ash out of the firebox.
A month in to ownership and loving it. Did an lot of analysis before buying and was really sold on the idea of having a one size fits all grill that would enable me to smoke and sear... the fact that I've had a rock solid weber Q propane grill for over a decade and a half made the decision easy for me.
