NOT consistent with what we all expect from Weber. This grill does not cook evenly, unless you have a grease fire going it doesn’t get as hot. Having a flavor bar without a burner under neath it makes ZERO sense and contributes to the lack of high heat and uneven cooking. Also, don’t buy their covers, only straps up high and the wind blows under the cover and with the poorly designed base, the drip pan gets blown off and grease gets everywhere below. The side base enclosure is misleading because it’s not fully closed, allows wind and water in there. This grill is too expensive for it to NOT deliver and disappoint this badly. Oh, the stainless steal rusts (that’s right) and the hood easily burns through and gets ugly in a matter of a couple of months, so it looks older than it is. I wish I bought two of the smaller three burner base model grills. No burner-less flavor bars there and way cheaper. DON’t BUY either buy lower or higher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In the Destin FL salt air this is the only grill tha will last... I have had a prior Weber for 15 years and the burners are still great... I took it to a property in GA and got this larger one for our new pool. I wont own anything but a Weber!
I had a Vermont Castings bbq for years and it worked very well. It finally died this Spring, and I bought this Weber. So far it’s been great. It cooks evenly and quickly.
If you have tried the rest.. try the one that last

I’ve been a customer for over 25 years. I’m proud to say that my summit six burner Weber lasted those 25 years, yes really ! so what possible choice did I have other than to buy a new Weber once again? I love the upgrades that have become a standard for what my Weber is today. Namely, the side storage, the stainless extra space on both sides, the fact that it has the searing burners and the temperature comes up really fast and so many accessories that are available, including being able to use a wok and the cast-iron grill in place of the stainless. I also like that the gas tank is safely stored underneath the grill out of the elements. The grease trap and sliding shelf underneath the burners makes for an easy cleanup and I especially like that the burners underneath the flavorizer bars, clean up with just soap and water, and no scrubbing. My husband who is a chef of 30 years , culinary trained is in love with the grill he’s able to control temperatures far better than we used to be able to and there are no hotspots. It’s a nice even temperature throughout . I can’t say enough about my new genesis grill I’m very happy
My grill has rust spots in several places. I am working with customer service but I am getting nowhere. Seems I am being led around and around with no results.
Bottom line warranty support is worthless and I am

The first burner failed after first use, Weber has refused to send a tech to inspect and repair under warranty. They expect me to disassemble and photograph. That is not happening.
