Finally stepped up to a professional, natural gas Weber S-435 after burning through several "bargain" grills. It's absolutely worth the cost, but skip Ace Hardware's free assembly (their "pro assembler" never removed the protective plastic clearly marked "remove prior to assembly", so I had to disassemble and reassemble before using).
The Sear Zone works as advertised. I've never grilled better steaks.
Temperature control is versatile and predictable. I'm looking forward to preparing more meats and vegetables on this beauty for many years to come.
