Had to replace our last Genesis due to tree damage. This model is a bit bigger and more BTUs
The sear burner is awesome! Makes a big difference. Heats up quickly. The two big differences are 1) you have to use the igniter button every time you want to light a burner 2) the side burner is on the left side now, not the right.

Love the new BBQ. I have been buying Weber for years. This BBQ is back to the quality of the past with the cast iron grates. My previous purchase is stainless steel (new one with cast iron is at the cottage) and old used at home. I almost feel like swapping them out. Purchased the griddle attachment which wasn’t available on the old model.
