Very little flare up. Grease collection cup really works. Stainless steel get water stains very easily. Very hard to remove. Large handle gets hot. So far so good.

The Weber S-435 replaced my 10+ year old Genesis E-310 and the amount of grilling space allowed by the S-435 appeared to be 30% more surface and it made grilling for it's FIRST barbeque party so much easier and enjoyable!

This is my first experience with a gas grill after more than 30 years of using charcoal/lump charcoal, and I am super pleased with the E-435. Plenty of cooking room, love that I can control temps much better than with my kettle and, of course, the convenience of gas grilling.
