The grill looks fantastic, but was a lot more trouble to put together than I thought it would be. The instructions for this weren't the best. Both the written and videos didn't cover every particular model. A few pieces were missing, but were sent as soon as I asked for them.

Exceptionally nice grill, but somewhat tedious to assemble. You will have a substantial amount of packing material/cardboard to dispose of once you have completed the assembly. The regulator provided was inadequate with all burners and the side burner on high. I changed to a higher volume regulator, and all is well. My 21-year-old Genesis Gold is capable of higher temperatures. My Genesis Gold also has a feature I wish the S-435 had, the Crossover tube. With the Genesis Gold, you lit one burner and could then light the others as needed without using the ignitor. You have to use the ignitor to light each burner with the S-435. Overall, the S-435 is a well-built grill that should last upwards of 20 years, but it isn't as well-made as my trusty old, heavily used Genesis Gold. I predict that the first item to fail on the S-435 will be one of the burner knobs, they are surprisingly flimsy.
