Thank you for being a Weber fan! We are thrilled that you are loving your new grill. We appreciate your feedback!
We have a cover designed to fit the Genesis 2022, you might have the Genesis cover, which would be tight on your grill. You will want to look for cover 7758, you can view it here: https://www.weber.com/US/en/accessories/grill-covers/premium-grill-cover-%E2%80%93-7758/7758.html
We would like to confirm that you have the correct cover for your grill and offer our assistance. All of our premium grill covers carry a 3-year warranty.
Please look for an email outreach from our Care team. Thanks again!
My new Genesis E-435 Gas Grill Is one of the BEST Weber grills that I have ever owned! It cooks the best steaks I have ever tasted! The sear on the steaks was amazing. Indirect cooking is carefree. I can't wait to try my rotisserie to BBQ a chicken! I did a beer can Chicken with baby Yukon potatoes and the taste of both was awesome. The extra height provided a nice even cook! You won't be disappointed with this grill!
I have used Weber grills for more than 20 years. Started with a charcoal kettle grill before moving up to a gas grill. This grill is an upgrade and I am looking forward to exploring the possibilities it offers.
The grill structure is void of protection for the electrical connections and the gas connections underneath making it susceptible to damage by snow or rain. Previos models I owned had an enclosed compartment under the grill that housed those components. Apparently the designers assume everyone will use a grill cover forgetting that sometimes we grill in the winter or in spaces that make the placement/removal of a cover difficult. My las Weber Genesis lasted 12 years of all season use, never covered. Also if you tried to light the grill with a lighter,( after your electricals go) the new bars are very close to each other and preclude your placing the lighter close to the burner. All in all an expensive grill that in an era of technological advance looks and feels as a grill designed in 1950. Clearly being a leader is not a condition that will last in perpetuity
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
