So less than a month with a new Weber E-435 and not worth the hype. I paid $1300 for this and could have purchased something cheaper. The grill does not get hot enough. I came from a DCS grille and could cook a steak in 3-4 minutes. After the hurricane destroyed my DCS, I asked my friends who have Webers and said they were good.... I guess if maybe if you always drove a Hugo and moved up to a ford it is good. I bought my kid a Nexgrille(stainless), and the performance is the same for 1/3 the price. The Weber was not defect free, the doors were warped (Weber addressed), the ignitor on side burner is dubious and issue with left burner. The grille itself looks fine, and the touch places feel good. But to me, it is not worth it due to the grill falling short in performance based on my experiences and no one can challenge that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the cooking surface area and the new ignition method on this gas grill. I also bought the optional griddle, which I haven't tried yet. The first thing I cooked was 10 pounds of hot wings and liked the way i could move the ones that get done first into the warming racks at the back of the grill. This replaced a Weber Platinum grill that was 17 years old and this was a real upgrade.
