The grill itself seems well built and was relatively easy to put together…although time consuming. However, for such an expensive grill the electric start for the main grill burners wouldn’t work. Spoke to Weber and they sent out replacement parts. Still doesn’t work Now, the grill still works if you manually start it and it seems to cook well, but I’m greatly disappointed in the lack of electric starting in such an expensive piece of outdoor cooking equipment. I expected better.

I purchased the Propane model with intent to convert to natural gas with "commercially available" conversion kits for this purpose. When assembling, I called your helpline and was told that Weber does not recognize the use of conversion kits to natural gas, and warranty is voided. i packed up the pieces and thankfully, COSTCO accepted return of the propane model opened box. When I check to see the cost of a natural gas unit, it is about $400 more. The conversion kit is about $100. Your helpline would not help me determine what parts are different (other than the ports) to spend $400 extra for $100 of duplicated parts.

Side burner was not working when I first used the grill. I called Weber and ordered a part, I’ve been waiting for at least a month.

My grill hasn't worked right since I bought it. the igniter STILL wont work after 4 or 5 emails with service support to trouble shoot.

It is possible that the igniter electrodes that light your burners shifted during shipping or assembly. We recommend checking the end of the burners to confirm each electrode is parallel to the top of the burner.
We also recommend checking the wire connections at your igniter module under the grill.

I like the grill but I have to light it manually as the igniter doesn't work. I have contacted Angel in customer service but he seems to think I should repair it myself. I am old and have knee and back problems and can't crawl around under the grill to diagnose and repair it and I don't think I should be expected to. Please let me know your thoughts on the issue.

If you are not hearing a clicking noise when you press the igniter button, it is possible that the igniter electrodes that light your burners shifted during shipping or assembly. We recommend checking the end of the burners to confirm each electrode is parallel to the top of the burner.

The assembly process is very difficult because the instructions on paper don't match the instructions on line, and neither those two match the packaging the grill came with. Boxes labeled with sharpies, content misplaced and content mixed in different boxes was a nightmare. Add to threefold that the grill in the paper instructions and the grill in the on line instructions were different to the grill i got (same model number, but seemed to be different model year) For example, the grill on line had a long rear axle and 2 big round wheels, the paper instructions had 2 locking casters but in reality i got regular faster of different size
