Expensive but good quality. Worth the money. Heats fast and cooks well. This is the first expensive grill I’ve ever had. Normally I buy cheap ones that last maybe 2-3 years. I got tired of constantly replacing them so I went with a Genesis this time. Only con I have is the stainless steel rusts in my area (Washington State) I recommend wiping grill down weekly with bar keepers friend as small rust starts to develop on the stainless steel but once a week clean with bar keepers it comes right off. Would recommend a Weber to anyone who can afford the entry fee. Well made and cooks better than any cheaper grill I’ve had.
Beautiful, large cooking area, wok area and searing station is a plus! Side burner works perfectly too. Using the wok station more than i expected. Love my new grill in my outdoor kitchen
While I love how the grill cooks, it uses a ton of propane, compared to my old Weber grill. For example, I have used 1/2 tank for 4 quick meals for 2 people! Additionally, I really dislike all of the stainless steel which is really hard to keep looking nice and the stainless steel side shelves scratch so easily. The first time using the grill and just setting down - carefully- a plate and a pair of tongs and I got scratches. It was crazy! The other thing, is because of the location of the propane tank within the cabinet, it makes it super hard to change. My old Weber grill had the tank on the outside - making it much easier to change. Weber should be designing for functionality. I’m disappointed and honestly wish I hadn’t given away my old grill.
Very impressed with this grill. I take a lot of time researching what would fit my best needs. And this is clearly the product for me. I also added to it, the stainless griddle accessory which we use even more frequently than the burners.
The scale measuring remaining propane does not work. The “new” brackets inside the where there used to to a shelf totally eliminate the ability to store things in the bottom compartment.
This is my second Weber Genesis, and I couldn’t be more impressed. My first one lasted a solid 15 years and even survived a flood before it finally started rusting away. That durability is what brought me back to Weber, and the Genesis S-435 Gas Grill (Liquid Propane) has been nothing short of amazing.
The four burners provide powerful, even heat, and the large cooking surface lets me grill multiple items without any hassle. One feature I’ve really come to love is the dedicated searing station. It cranks up the heat for those perfect sear marks, making steaks and chops even more mouth-watering. Plus, I added a griddle top, which has become a game changer. From searing to making breakfast or stir-frying, the griddle adds incredible versatility to the grilling experience.
The stainless steel design is sleek and easy to maintain, and the side burner is perfect for heating up sauces or side dishes. I’ve put this grill through its paces, and it has consistently delivered exceptional results.
If you’re looking for a grill that combines durability, power, and versatility—including a great searing station—the Genesis S-435 is the way to go. After 15 years with my first Weber, I’m confident this one will be with me for the long haul as well!
