Very nice grill. I like the control board and the fact it comes with temperature probes. The Weber Connect feature is also nice. I have only used the grill once so far to smoke a pork butt and experienced pellet bridging (pellets in the hopper but not being picked up by the auger). Would be nice to be able to set custom temperature alerts like Meatstick or Meater which I submitted to Weber as a feature update. Larger wheels would also be nice as an option for those of us without a concrete or wooden patio / porch / deck. The small wheels would sink very easily into soft turf.

After preheating, the heat will start to even out. When you open the lid, the Smoke Fire engine will start running harder to keep the temperature up. When the lid is open, especially for extended periods of time, outside factors such as wind can redirect the flame and heat.
It sounds simple, but keep that lid closed for best results.

This thing is great. I was worried about the issues with the first gen, but Weber has fixed those and really knocked it out of the park with this one. I used to have a pellet grill for smoking and a gas grill for grilling. I gave those away now that this has proven itself to be great at both. This is a pellet hungry machine, buy in bulk if you can.

I bought this because my previous pellet grill broke down every time I used it to cook for others. So far no problems. The grill warms up quickly and will reach the advertised 600°. I have cooked steaks and chicken so far, nothing low and slow yet. The right side cooks quicker than the left side but I think that is by design. You sear on the right side. I bought this grill because of my experience with my 15 year old Weber Genesis as well as expert reviews.
