I love my EX6. It was my first choice when I decided to buy a smoker in Feb 2022 but it wasn't available in my area so I bought a competitor's top model which was recommended by a friend. It was a disaster. The control board went out after 4 smokes and it took 6 weeks to get a replacement board. I returned the inferior one and bought my EX6 online. Now I smoke and grill at least 3x a week and the results have been nothing but outstanding. I rarely give anything 5 stars, but I will give my EX6 4.5 stars!

Hot spot! The right side burns a lot hotter than the left. So everything you cook you have to keep an eye on so that you are not burning it! This is my first pellet smoker so not sure if this normal? But I will say all in all I am really liking it👍

The grill is heavy, high quality and a proper Weber version of a pellet smoker. I have owned three other pellet smokers from other major brands and they have all ended up in the landfill. I am so happy to be back with Weber grills again. I had 20 years with Weber pre-pellet and so glad to be back. The quality the ability to clean and replace any parts will make this my grill for a decade ahead minimum. All three previous pellet grills never made it more than 2 years before falling apart.

Was cautiously optimistic but now just terribly disappointed. I have had my SmokeFire for almost 2 years now and waited to review because I wanted to give it a real shot first.
At first, it grilled and smoked like a champ as long as you constantly cleaned it. Fast forward to about 8 months in, it fails to fire about every other use, it flames out every 3rd or 4th use and consistently fails to hold temp. It doesn't feed pellets well unless you disassemble, remove and scrub the auger often. Then, when any of these things happen, you have to wait for it to shut down, clean it all out and then restart with the hopes of it actually firing. This is easily a 30-40 minute delay in cooking now.
I really badly wanted to love this grill but it has way too many issues that need to be worked out.

Many factors, like pellet quality and maintenance, can contribute. For example, excess pellet dust from low-quality/stale pellets can cause jams if not cleaned out regularly.

Loved the concept of the SmokeFire and how it can both sear and smoke. Did steak burgers, brats and a pork shoulder all in the same weekend and they all turned out great. Only bad thing which I am working through with Weber is that the bottom of the drill on the outside seal of drum it leaked a pretty significant amount of grease during the smoking of the pork shoulder.

Great for smoke

I have this smoker for 2 years, it's working great for smoke meet, steaks and I make a lit off good dishes. Remember it's smoker with some grill futures are OK, but can't compared to the good grill futures. The only thing that is annoying is meet temperature sensors, they very very poor quality, I replaced already more then dosen , finally get tired and bought other company ones with better quality. Hopefully Weber will reserve this issue
