This is an awesome machine only suggestion I would make is the pull out drawer should have a tighter seal so wind hits it it doesn’t Blow ash around the grill interior so much.know that I love it otherwise

Difficult to get started. Hopper doesn’t feed all the pellets and have to push them down halfway through the cook. Temp fluctuations are all over the board. Weber sent me a new hopper slide but I haven’t installed it yet so I can’t comment in that. Hopefully the hopper replacement fixes the issue with pellet feed. Also, I’d like to see a better cleaning system instead of having to tear apart the grill to get the bottom clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend using Weber pellets for the best experience. We also recommend that the pellets be checked for freshness before grilling. A fresh pellet will snap when broken in half, not crumble.

My EX6 has worked flawlessly, I'm quite impressed by it's performance. It has a huge amount of grilling area, so I always have plenty of room for whatever I'm smoking or grilling. The smoke flavor is amazing, and the 600 degree sear is perfect to finish of thick steaks.

The App us nice, but has some minor flaws in it. Ince you start the recipe, it doesn't make it easy to alter it (such as time to rest). Grill is great though, lovd it.

Diving into the SmokeFire - 6 weeks of use

Pros:
- Like the flexibility to smoke, grill, sear
- Good size to do lots of food at once
- Love the connectivity and app
Cons:
- It’s loud! This is my first pellet grill and I was surprised (and disappointed) at how much noise the fan makes
- Goes through pellets a lot faster than I expected; seems like a bag every 3-4 grill sessions
- Takes a long time to shut-down; I want to turn if off, not hear it anymore, and not think about it anymore while I eat
- It would greatly benefit from built-in storage (like the Genesis and Summit lines have underneath) - for extra pellets, grill tools, cleaning products, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are glad to hear you are enjoying your grill and are pleased with its performance.

However, we apologize for the disappointment with the grill shut down timeframe and the fan noise.

Regarding the pellet consumption, it is 1-2 pounds per hour on low and slow temps and 3-5 pounds of pellets per hour on high heat cooking temperatures. Hopefully, this information is helpful.
