After going through the shut down procedures when having the grill at 600 it seems to not get rid of all the pellets in the auger. So when restarted again the firebox gets clogged and doesn’t start until all the pellets are removed.

I love the smoker for the exception of the hopper. It has feeding issues. An over night cook needs attended to.

Glad to hear that you are enjoying your new SmokeFire EX6! We certainly would not expect any feeding issues with this unit. We recommend using Weber pellets, but the key is that you want to make sure that the pellets you are using (including Weber pellets) don't have dust or have broken down, which can happen if you or a dealer are storing them in a humid environment, handling them roughly, or if the bag has been left open for some time. The pellets should have a crisp snap when broken instead of tearing or ripping apart. We will contact you shortly to ensure your grill is working as it should. Thanks!

I have to say that I am addicted to this pellet grill/smoker. Everything that I have cooked on it has greatly improved on the flavor and tenderness versus using a standard grill. I have not smoked and brisket or ribs but plan to soon. I have cooked ribeye steaks, burgers, corn on the cob, baked potatoes and pork chops and I have cooked them flawlessly.
The set up of the grill could not have been any easier when using the suggested app. I also have not had any functionality issues yet but if this should change I will report on it so your aware. Happy grilling here!!!
