I have to admit, being a lifelong charcoal user, I didn't want to like the SmokeFire.
The problem is, I threw everything I could at it and it came perfect every time!
From low and slow to hot and fast... the SmokeFire made me a believer!

So far excellent.!I waited for the 2nd generation. I have had other pellet grill brands and Weber fixed the issues they have. Although the hopper slope could be better, I don’t know how they could improve. Having the hopper drop from an elevated position is great and allows for a much bigger flame in the pot without back fire. The only thing I would change is when you turn it off and then decide you want to cook a little more or restart, you can’t. You have to let it shut down completely. But over all the app is easy, it heats fast, great smoke, easy clean, and best of all stainless grates. I have been without a Weber for 9 years and now I am back to only Weber products. Awesome.

It's a Weber. What else is there to say. It is solid, looks great and cooks awesome.They also have the best customer service and parts availability. It cooks low and slow and you can sear steaks. Try that with a Traeger, at any price level. I added the stainless shelfs. They look good but don't hold much weight.

So far it's working pretty good I did have problems with pellets bridging.

The key to good pellet flow is to use good quality pellets. We recommend using Weber pellets for the best results. You want to use pellets that are fresh and intact. Always avoid pellets that have dust or are broken down, which can happen if you or a dealer store them in humid environments, handle them roughly, or if the bag is left open for some time. The pellets should have a crisp snap when broken instead of tearing or ripping apart.
We appreciate your concern with even heat inside your grill. It is important to make sure your grill is fully preheated with the lid closed before adding food. After preheating, the heat will start to even out. When you open the lid, the Smoke Fire engine will start running harder to keep the temperature up. When the lid is open, especially for extended periods of time, outside factors such as wind can redirect the flame and heat.

I have had problems with this grill from the start

I bought this grill about 6 months ago and I have had problems ever since. Now the auger turns for 2 minutes and then stops. After awhile it starts turning again slowly but the grill doesn't light.

Thank you for your response. We are sorry to learn that you are having issues with your SmokeFire grill. We would never expect your auger to stop turning arbitrarily! Your grill should light easily and maintain temperature without issues.
After setting the temperature of the grill, it is important to keep the lid closed. The pellets are fed into the grill based on the internal grill temperature. Opening the lid can interfere with the functionality potentially disrupt the auger and feed rate.

Did my due diligence in researching the EX6 as well as other brands and the best bang for my buck is the EX6. Cooked ribs, chicken breast/cream cheese bacon wrapped...performed flawlessly very happy with my choice no complaints thanks Weber for bringing this pellet grill to life.
