The SmokeFire does a great job with low and slow cooking/smoking. I am still struggling with getting hamburgers and steaks to turn out as good as on charcoal. It does maintain temperature well at both low and high temperatures.

So far the EX6 has been flawless. It grills pretty well, smokes amazingly, and even gets hot enough (600 degrees) for cooking pizza. If you know what you’re getting into (slightly more cleaning up of grease in the cook box than a traditional pellet grill), you will have great success with this grill. Overall it works a lot better than my old one from a competitor.
I was a bit hesitant at first having read all of the Gen I problems, but after taking a leap I am impressed. The quality is typical Weber so no issues there. Software is good, smoker reaches temp quickly and holds. Smoked a couple of times and this thing is a breeze to use and food is great.
