I give this grill a SOLID four stars. As far as how it cooks food: AMAZING. Everything I've cooked in this grill has been unbelievable (chicken, fish, pork, beef, veggies, you name it!) The only reason I dont give it five stars is because I occassionally have issues with starting it. I will start the grill and walk away for it to heat up, I come back and it's dispensed loads of pellets, but it's not actually heating up. Happens apprx 1 out of 10 times. Frustrating, but easy to fix (shut down the grill, clean out the pellets, start it up again and it works fine). Otherwise, absolutely love this grill. I would still 100% recommend it.
I own a first generation and worked through all of the issues and didn’t throw in the towel… once it was lined out I loved it. I purchased this second generation for our vacation home. I own many Weber products and loyal to a brand that provides customer service and performance.
Good smoker, makes some really great BBQ. The only issue I have with the Smoker is the software. When increasing temperatures the Smokefire sometimes takes an inordinate amount of time to increase the heat. Sometimes I have to increase the temps to 350-400 to get the Smokefire to start heating up, then I need to decrease to the temperature needed. Other than that, I love this thing!

I am in love. This thing is a beast and performs beautifully. Assembly was smooth and took about two hours with help of my three year old. Cooks like a champ. Set it and forget it. Have a lot and I can wait to do even more. Don’t hesitate order one right now you will be happy.
Would have been four stars if the original cook box wasn’t defective. Had to spend over two hours disassembling and reassembling the grill. It’s a fun grill to cook on, but not overly impressive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have always been a charcoal guy but also always wanted a smoker. This grill is so versatile i can easily do the quick hit of burgers to long smoke of brisket with ease. Best BBQ i have ever owned. Plus the app is awesome.
