I had never owned a pellet smoker before and couldn't imagine how it could possibly compete with my pit smoker. I figured it out after seeing it in action. A friend of mine has an EX6 Gen2 and gave me some food he made on it. I was impressed. He raved about it and showed me how easy the SmokeFire was to use and I was sold.
It was easy to use right from the start and it has performed impressively since I got it. I have made pork buts, brisket, pork chops, venison, steaks and fajitas using the SmokeFire and they have all literally been the best I have made and some of the best I have ever tasted. All that with only minimal interaction with while it was cooking. It is incredibly easy to make fantastic BBQ with the SmokeFire.
SmokeFire stands up to its Weber brand and finally I can cook for my family of 7 with having to cook twice. Everything fits, the meat on the bottom and the veggies on top.
Fantastic grill! I use mine at least 4 days a week cooking everything from breakfast, dinner and desert dishes. Would really like to see a cook/recipe book strictly for the SmokeFire.
It easily combines the ability to smoke and hi temp grill with the push of a button. Features like integrated temperature probes are an added plus. Mobile app makes staying with guests easy.
The 1st time I used my EX6 I cooked ribs for about 5 hours, the 2nd time was a 10lb. pork shoulder and smoked mac and cheese with a run time of 19+ hours, the 3rd time was less than an hour at high heat for burgers. I had zero issues with any of these cooks and the EX6 ran flawlessly. This thing just flat-out performs!
