The smokefire is a great grill that offers amazing flavor and a great smoke ring just wish the heat was even throughout the smoker but I put pans underneath the grill grates to even it out and keep it clean

Hi! Your feedback is much appreciated! It is important to make sure your grill is fully preheated with the lid closed before adding food. After preheating, the heat will start to even out. When you open the lid, the SmokeFire engine will start running harder to keep the temperature up. When the lid is open, especially for extended periods of time, outside factors such as wind can redirect the flame and heat. It sounds simple, but please keep that lid closed for best results. The grill works great . Temp settings work well as they should . My only complaints are when shutting the grill down you have to go back out and manually turn the power switch off otherwise the circuit board and display stay on and just says it is now safe to turn off ( I have forgotten a few times and left the circuit board on over night ). Also it does seem to have a lot of ash/pellet dust flying around and sticking to the outside of the unit so it is always looks dirty . Overall I love the unit and it cooks great . Just a couple more small improvements that could be made in my opinion .

Hello, Wood naturally produces ash while burning, so there is a possibility with any pellet grill that some ash may blow out and onto the outside of the grill. This can easily be wiped down with a soft cloth or paper towel. We designed SmokeFire to ensure that ash collection is as easy-to-maintain as possible with a unique ash and grease collection drawer. Exelent smoker at low temperature smoking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this smoker for 4 months now and love making smoked anything on it! The only reason why it's not getting 5 stars is because of a fire I had inside the smoker. After spending time cleaning the grill I smoked a pork shoulder for 10 hours. To crisp the fat I turned the heat to 575F, stepped away for 2 min and when I came back everything inside was on fire. I would suggest improving the way fat is handled to lead it away from the fire pit and not have the outlets right next to it. Maybe a shoot on each side?

Weber! You're almost there!

First of all I'd like to say I am very partial to Weber. I was looking for a smoker pellet grill and just couldn't settle on one, I seen that the Weber came out and couldn't help but notice through lots of research
there was lots of issues, I waited patiently for the second generation to come out and my wife happened to purchase me one for Christmas. Also, purchased one for my Dad- he had some issues from the get
go that I did not. Overall, I think it's a great unit needs a little bit of tweaking and it will be perfect. One thing I really hate about it is where the exhaust comes out on top of the pellet hopper it's always greasy and nasty. Maybe think about rerouting that to a side pipe or something? The other thing where the lid closes there is alot of build up. Suggestion would be to create a baffle inside to overlap the gap. When I peeled the label off the lid you can see where the label was at, I cannot for the life of me get it to go away. It's a lighter color where the label was. The grate position/size makes it really hard to flip anything more than burgers/brats let's say, if you have large(r) pieces of meat on the bottom grate. The upper grate just is not real functional. Another thought is making a secondary smoke option maybe a separate tube that feeds pellets in another area that creates extra smoke while grilling at a higher temperature. I was looking at buying Weber grilling utensils...... I have to be honest I found that your competitor utensils are much much better quality for a little bit more so unfortunately I settled with putting utensils on my Weber grill but I'm all about quality.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with your new SmokeFire and being a long-time Weber fan! What a great xmas present! It sounds like you have been doing a lot of smoking!

Regarding the lid sticker shadow, this could happen if it is not removed before starting the grill or it's left on and has been in the sun. You might want to try to use rubbing alcohol to remove the residue. If it does not come off, the lid carries a 5-year warranty against any manufacturing defects, and we can surely swap it out for you.

Since you were suggesting some smoke ideas, have you seen the wet smoke kit? Assuming you are using our SmokeBoost feature, too. If not, check it out in the app. The ideal smoking temperatures are between 160-200 degrees. Please know that when using the SmokeBoost feature, the display screen will not show the temperature. You may use the meat probes to measure the internal temp, but it's not needed!

We would expect to see some grease buildup with the use of the grill, and you will want to wipe the lid down with a damp soft cloth or paper towel after usage to maintain. We will reach out to you via email to take a look at what you are seeing to see what specific tips we can offer.

My wife bought the ex4 grill as a scratch and dent. We got it home and it wouldn't maintain temp, she called customer service and told them everything. They sent out updated parts and complimentary glow plugs and pellets at no charge. Just got the new parts in and grill is working perfectly. Amazing customer service
